Multiservices Multiplexer

CXR proposes a range of Digital Access non blocking Cross connect multiplexers with multiples E1/T1 or E3/DS3 as inputs or outputs and also an STM1 termination. This multiplexer provide the mission of nodal PDH multiplexer with capability of cross-connect all Time Slots of all incoming interfaces and the function of concentration towards the outgoing interfaces.

They are flexible multi-services voice/data/Ethernet because of their modular interfaces.

This equipment are used by the Telco for voice and data distribution in low density area, but they are significantly used in infrastructures of transport facilities or electricity distribution for the concentration and distribution of the teleprocessing, the SCADA, Ethernet, the analogue radio and the voice. This equipment could be using as PDH access to SDH infrastructure or as a unique node for cross-connecting various effluents voice/data in campuses. They will concentrate by use as channel bank of telephones to PBX.

The IX4300 is a Simple 4 port DACS multiplexer with 4 interfaces 2Mbps or N x56/64Kbps of E1, T1 type or V35. The choice of interface must be fixed on order. This equipment is particularly powerful for E1/T1 conversion including the law A to law µ conversion and translation of ABCD bit necessary for some US Networks.

The IX4200-9 is a fully modular DACS multiplexer with 9 user or Networks interfaces. It concentrates and cross-connect all TS of the E1/T1 effluents, V35 series, X21, V24 or asynchronous RS232 like, Ethernet with bridging and routing capability, and voice with FXO/FXS, E&M and E1 with CAS capabilities. This equipment is particularly used in the transport infrastructures.

The IX4200-28 is a larger modular DACS containing up to 28 interfaces 2Mbps interfaces identical to the IX4200-9 but also a termination Network interface of E3 34Mbps, DS3 45Mbps or STM1 155Mbps with 1+1 protection capability. This equipment is use often as the principal node or in the more significant infrastructures and it makes it possible to the telecom operators to distribute large number voices, leased lines and Internet access.

The QX3440 is a High Density PDH multiplexer with a 128Mbps cross-connecting capability. This device is particularly intended to deliver a great number of customer’s interfaces on a site. The QX3440 is used by the Telco for local loop of voice distribution with the phone box. This multiplexer is particulary interesting for the infrastructures transport facilities: ports, airports, metro, train.

This DACS as a modularity of 4+12 interfaces slots for WAN interfaces E1, T1, 4 E1, 4 T1, 4 E1 optical fibre, E1 Frame relay, for DATA interfaces multi WAN bridge/router, 5 async/sync RS232, 6 serial n 56/64k and for high density VOICE with 12 FXO, 12 FXS, 8 EM card.

The IX7163 and IX4100 are PDH multiplexer with STM1 interfaces and VC12 payload. This equipment with PDH synchronization could link and cross-connect over STM1 fiber optic interfaces up to 63 E1 or 63x 31 TS and up to 3E3 or DS3. These products are described in the SDH section.

The HX9100 and HX9400 are pure SDH ADM or TM multiplexers. They will allow the interconnection of the PDH multiplexers through bonds STM1 155Mbps and STM4 622Mbps.These products are described in the SDH section.
