The Remote Access Server or RAS, allow nomads or small sites to reach the corporate resources with a direct call in PSTN or ISDN instead of using unsecured Internet access. • The RA2996 is connected over PSTN with 1 to 4 E1 or over ISDN with 1 to 4 PRI. This system accepts 16 to 120 simultaneous remote sites calls.

The Terminal Server authorize the access from terminals or terminal emulation in PC into UNIX/IBM/Bull/DEC host computers. This device could be connected directly in asynchronous mode or through modems. This equipment is providing also the printer serve feature. The offer of CXR is made up of:

• The RA1000 for configurations of 8 or 16 ports,
  
• TS224, TS324 and TS1124 for 2, 3 and 8 ports configurations.

The COM Port Servers, or RS232 to IP converters, are the right tool for many applications of migration from the asynchronous environment towards the IP world. This equipment is also giving the facility to take the remote control of various equipment (like switch, router, server) by their asynchronous control port over an IP network.

• The TS224 on coppers 10/100BaseT or fiber optic 100FX Ethernet,
