Integration of distant Windows station in a LAN
CXR proposes a simple solution of transmission for the migration of the structures with dumb terminals connected to the host over low speed modems, towards the Client-Server solutions with Windows terminals consuming bandwidth.
During this migration the low speed asynchronous base band modems connected to the screens will be replaced by the CopperLAN for one station or up to 4 with the CopperLAN-SW witch include a 4 ports switch. In case of centralization of line in could be use front of the LAN a rack mounting system with the AMS16 and double DSL card SpeeederLAN-DR.
The DSL card located at the central site will are set-up as Master and each line will automatically seek the maximum speed of transmission according to quality and length of the line. Then each distant Windows stations will be seen as a local station of the LAN.
