LAN extension over Microwave Radio system
CXR proposes simple solutions using interface converters from E1, 4 E1, E2 or E3 in front of the Microwave radio systems that we are describing in the LAN extension over PDH/SDH, but also of more sophisticated solutions using the ISDN back up for the protected links.
One will find these solutions for applications of the fireman transmission, the infrastructure of transport or even industrial sites which are using radio connections but those could be regarded as unstable.
Solutions containing TeamConnect and of CV2011 are able to transfer 2 Mbps between two LAN via the Radio system and will back-up automatically over ISDN 128kbps in the lack of Radio event or a need for additional bandwidth for particular protocols.

The solution based on XM6440 makes it possible to inter-connect two sites over 1 to 4 E1connections at 2, 4, 6 or 8 Mbps according to the availability of the bonds. This solution is particularly economic and simple to install, this equipment being a transparent bridge 10/100BaseT with the VLAN and screens MPLS.
The solution using a HyConnect and of up to four CV2011 is able to manage 4 E1 connections or 4 time 2Mbps or one CV8011 with 8Mbps E2 with an automatic backup through a PRI ISDN up to 1920kbps. These automated solutions are able to differentiate particular flow to preserve, and could be integrated in a large scale strategie with OSPF..
