ISDN Multiplexer and Channel Bank

CXR offers ISDN BRI (Basic Rate ISDN 2B+D) and PRI (Primary Rate Interface) multiplexers. They provide BRI to PRI and PRI to PRI multiplexing and switching. CXR also produces varied solutions of BRI and PRI transport over copper, fiber optic and TDM/PDH/SDH networks.

These solutions are used by the PBX installers to share ISDN links with different voice/data applications and utilizing varied links from the Telco. Data integrators utilize this solution for sharing an ISDN PRI between voice and router backup.

These solutions are integrated for video conferencing H.320 over ISDN to support the video server and multiple video stations with high speed switching.

The CB2000 is a concentrator and channel bank for Basic Rate Access into Primary Rate Access. We provide 3 versions: 16 BRI(NT) to 1 PRI(TE) to Network, 32 BRI (NT) to 2 PRI (TE) to Network and a last model with 16 BRI(NT) and 1 PRI(NT) to 1 PRI(TE) to Network.

The CB2000 support MSN number, the subaddress and several PBX services for voice and data applications.

The MI-4PRI is a 4 PRI concentrator. Each PRI can be setup as Network (NT) toward equipment or Terminal (TE) toward the Telco access. The MI-4PRI is an ISDN switching node with the optional function of changing the dial-numbering process (Least Cost Routing) LCR.

The CB-2000 and MI-4PRI can be connected to the Public ISDN network. In addition, they can also create an independent ISDN network in a private environment over TDM/PDH/SDH links and share these links for voice and variable data flows.

CXR also offers the solution of ISDN BRI or PRI transport over Copper, Fiber and TDM/PDH/SDH networks.

BRI (2B+1D channels) are transported over copper for TDM/PDH/SDH with the CV24BR and over fiber with the FO84BR.

The CV24BR is an interface converter going from 4 BRI to an E1 G703/G704.

It can be used as a 4BRI Point-to-Point 4 wire modem for up to 1.6km.

As a 4 BRI access solution in a TDM/PDH Network, the system can provide a Point-to-Point 4 BRI connection between two points on the network or it can provide 4 BRI connections from one CV24BR to 4 different CV24BR’s at different points on the network.

The FO84BR is a fiber optic modem transporting 4 BRI, or 8B+4D channels, up to 117km.
