AD-RT-ETH-WIFI-X6 ADSL Modem Bridge/Router Firewall with 4 port Ethernet switch and Wi-fi access point

The AD-RT-ETH/WIFI-X6 provides analog voice and Internet access over Ethernet ports on a Wi-fi connection. This router includes advanced security’s functions and is ideal for small enterprises or hotels because of performance and cost.

The 802.11g Wireless Access Point provides freedom to roam with 54 Mbps 802.11g data rates and/or the older 802.11b standard operating at 11 Mbps.

Unlike other wireless access points, the X6 can support concurrent connections to both 802.11(b) and (g) devices without compromising the data rate of the higher speed devices.

With competing products, an 802.11b device on an 802.11g network can bring the performance of the entire wireless network down to the slower 802.11b speed. The AD-RT-ETH/WIFI-X6 is equipped with Prism™ Nitro Mode technology to minimize collision problems created with a mixed network of 802.11b and 802.11g devices and maximizes network performance. Prism Nitro Mode also includes packet bursting technology to deliver up to a fifty percent increase in throughput for 802.11g only networks and

up to a tripling of speed in a network with both 802.11b and 802.11g devices.

Wireless security includes the newer Wi-Fi Protected Access (WPA) protocol as well as Wired Equivalency Protection (WEP).

The AD-RT-ETH/W-FI-X6 include a Firewall with advanced security features Stateful Packet Inspection, (SPI) and Network Address Translation (NAT) which protect against Denial of Service attack and Port Scan detection and prevention

This modem supports the ADSL, ADSL2 and ADSL2+ modes up to 24Mbps downstream with Annex L for Reach Extended DSL used in long distance applications and Annex M for an improved upstream rate of 3Mbps.
