CopperWAY-SW dual G.SHDSL modem Bus/Ring, 2 x 4.6Mbps with 4 Ethernet switch ports, 4 RS-232/RS-485 ports and 2 Input/Output dry contact ports

This powerful equipment distributes Ethernet and asynchronous links on a multipoint network within a Bus or Ring topology. It is employed in the infrastructure for transport (train, motorway, airport) and energy distribution 4.6

This equipment concentrates different IP and asynchronous equipment at each node such as IP-Cameras, emergency IP-Phone and RTUs.

The CopperWAY-SW can simultaneously provide two independent G.SHDSL transmission streams auto adaptatives from 400 Kbps to 4.6 Mbps with 4 wires per directions.

The CopperWAY-SW is equipped with 4 ports Ethernet 10/100BaseT. Another version includes 4 asynchronous RS-232 ports.RS-232RS-485The firs port is user defined as RS-232 or RS-485.

Asynchronous flows are encapsulated into IP and the switch also provides QoS management. The ring protection is controlled by Spanning Tree Protocol.

CopperWAY-SW is provided in a small metal box DIN rail format with:

• 4 Ethernet port 10/100BaseT with internal switch to optimize the local and 2 ports DSL traffic with QoS support,
• 1 RS-232/RS-485 and 3 RS-232 asynchronous ports, with terminal server function in Telnet, RAW-TCP and RFC 2217 modes to provide encapsulation transport to other CopperWAY, FiberWAY or TSxx24 or TCP-IP server,
• 2 inputs and 2 outputs Open/Close for remote-control equipment
