FOC Media Ethernet converter module

Copper to fiber from 10, 100 and or 1000BaseT up to 120Km in 100FX or 1000LX

FOC interconnects different Ethernet devices with different media and rates.

Or FOC interconnects a distant station or branch of the LAN to the main LAN.

The FOC is an independent plug-and-play device, or it can be configured manually with a micro-switch selection. We offer a range of Ethernet/Gigabit Ethernet pure converter (100BaseT /100FX or 1000BaseT/1000SX/LX) or with an integrated 2 port switch (10/100BaseT or 10/100/1000BaseT).

The FOC supports the ‘’Link Alarm’’ mode which shuts down the copper interface when the optical link is cut or conversely, shuts down the optical interfaces when the copper interface is disconnected or fails.

In pure converter mode, the FOC provides a full duplex 200Mbps or 2000Mbps bandwidth and supports Jumbo frames up to 9216 Bytes. The FOC is VLAN transparent in all modes.

FOC is powered by 5Vdc and comes equipped with an external AC/5Vdc converter or an optional 48Vdc/5Vdc converter.

All FOC-xxx products can slide into a RACK-MEDIA16 chassis that holds 16 modules. This chassis provides single or dual power supplies and 3 fans for air circulation to all modules.

This must be used per pair one W1310 face to one W1550.
