IP-JET-T1-2TTX, IP-JET-2T1-2TTX and IP-JET-4T1- The transparent tranporter of voice/data over IP networks

CXR-Anderson Jacobson’s IP-Jet gateways deliver enhanced techniques for transporting and delivering conventional TDM channelized and unchannelized circuits over an Ethernet / IP network. The IP-Jet is the ideal solution for interconnecting PBX’s, telco switches or T1 channel banks.

Businesses, Education Districts, Universities, National, State and Local Government, incur significant recurring monthly costs for rigid bandwidth leased lines used only for the interconnection of PBXs and Telecom switches. The IP-Jet-4T1 Gateway provides communications managers with the ability to interconnect their existing phone systems over flexible bandwidth lines that are used to carry data, voice, and video. The Voice Only Leased Line Toll charges assessed by long distance and local carriers are eliminated or at worst case dramatically reduced by transporting voice traffic across LANs, WANs and Wireless Ethernets.

The IP-Jet encapsulates both full and fractional T1 and TDM circuits including the framing and signalling bits into IP packets. These packets are then transported across the enterprise intranet, Local Area Network, Metropolitan Area Network or Wide Area Network.

The IP-Jet Gateway differs significantly from VoIP gateways. You maintain all of your existing call handling features such as call hold, call transfer, voice mail and even conference call. IP-Jet (TDMoverIP) gateways take a much more direct approach than traditional Voice over IP (VoIP systems) by taking the incoming TDM data stream and slicing it into IP packets, adding the IP header, and then sending it on to its destination.

IP-Jet Quad T1 Gateways are also used to provide transparent interconnection of the cellular base stations (BTSs), base station controllers (BSCs) and mobile switching centers (MSCs) over IP Ethernet packet-switched networks. Supported access media include fiber, coax and fixed wireless. Cellular phone service providers are able to save substantially by converting to a packet switch network from circuit TDM leased lines. The IP-Jet Quad T1 has the Duplicate packets transmission and reception feature that provides for resilient performance through an intermittent or noisy circuit connection.
