TS-GPRS-T GSM/GPRS MODEM

The TS-GPRS is an asynchronous modem with a mobile GSM / GPRS network connection. It supports GSM Data connection up to 14.4 Kbps and interfaces either with a fixed PSTN line or another GSM terminal mobile.

The TS-GPRS can utilize the GPRS network with a TCP-IP connection at a downstream rate of up to 85.6 Kbps. The TS-GPRS contains a family of TCP-IP protocols so it can provide transparent transport of asynchronous applications for POS, industrial and security applications.

The TS-GPRS-TTX is more than just a GSM-GPRS modem. It is also an RS232 to IP converter that transports asynchronous data over a GSM-GPRS or Ethernet –IP network, as it is available at an ADSL access point for example (-TTX model).

Thanks to the TS-GPRS, asynchronous applications can access the GPRS network and obtain the benefits of a fast connection to the IP server, and of lower cost based on actual traffic unlike the classical telephone network.

The TS-GPRS-TTX has two network accesses : a 10/100 BaseT Ethernet interface, and a GSMGPRS interface. The GPRS access may be defined as the backup to the Ethernet link to secure and reinforce the connection to the IP server from an ADSL interface .

The TS-GPRS-SSL includes a processor to encrypt data being processed over the Ethernet transport. This product feature is described in the Terminal Server

The TS-GPRS-T is a GSM/GPRS asynchronous modem which transfers data in a transparent mode.

Le TS-GPRS-T Presents an economical alternative to connect RTU or equipment to telemetry server, remote control central and LTU control applications. GSM/GPRS operators will charge for the amount of data transmitted instead of paying a fixed rate for a circuit from the PSTN.

The TS-GPRS-T Automatically manages the PIN code and network access to the IP server even after a power failure. The TS-GPRS-T comes in a compact ABS enclosure. The GSM antenna is located on the back of the enclosure. It may be removed and installed a few meters away from the modem. It is managed by a set of AT commands which makes the operation as simple as operating a video game or remote RTU.

The TS-GPRS-T is one of a wide range of modems (ISDN,PSTN) and asynchronous terminal servers that provide a flexible approach for an RS232 interfaces utilized by industrial and Point Of Sale (POS) applications.
