Fiber Optic Modem - Optic Converter or Transmitter
CXR presents a wide range of fiber optic modems or optic converters designed for the transport of WAN , Ethernet, Industrial applications or video distribution.
The solution of transmission over fiber is really adapted to the disturbed environment in the industrial factory campus or close to the air conditioning, high voltage machineries. This optical mode of transmission allows transmitting in the same fiber very high speed full duplex and several independent communications.
The fiber optic speed and distance of transmission is today inaccessible by all other copper and wireless solutions.
In case of multiple links transmission over the same pair or unique fiber we will propose the TDM multiplexing or the fiber optic multiplexing like WDM with 1310 and 1550 nm or CWDM using lambda with a delta of 20 nm.
CXR is offering for all equipment different the standard transmission over 2 fibers or one fiber by using WDM components. The fiber transmission could Multimode transmission (MM) or Single mode (SM) for longer distance up to 150km.
