WAN FIBER OPTIC MODEMS OR CONVERTERS
CXR provides a range of fiber optic modems to extend or transport WAN for voice/data connections over dedicated fiber (or dark fiber) or lambda. The digital circuits transported over these fibers include nx64K, 2Mbps, 34Mbps, 155Mbps, 622Mbps and 1.25Gbps rates.
This equipment is used in the Telco’s local loop and customer premise, or in private campuses to interconnect synchronous or asynchronous applications and to provide interface conversion and clock regeneration.
The FO8000 is a manageable fiber optic modem with a maximum rate of 10Mbps and distance of 117Km. It is available in the following interface versions: E1, 4E1, V35, X21, 4 ISDN BRI (S0, T0) and is contained within a plastic box or rack card with all connectors in the back.
The New manageable versions are available in a metallic box or rack card with all connectors on the front except power.
The FO-E1T1 is a fiber optic modem to copper interface G703 E1 (2Mbps), G704 n x 64k and T1, compatible with the FO-SERIAL and older generation FO80E1 or FO8011/35. This device is manageable through SNMP.
The FO-E1T1-L is a non-manageable fiber optic modem to copper interface G703 E1 (2Mbps) or T1 in a small box with DIN Rail mounting features.
The FO-E3T3 is a fiber optic modem to copper interface G703 E3 (34Mbps) and T3/DS3 (45Mbps). This equipment also supports the conversion of Ethernet to optical E3 or T3. This device is manageable through SNMP.
The FO-SERIAL is a fiber optic modem to serial interface synchronous X21/V11 (FO-SE11), V35 (FO-SE35) with rates from 64 kbps to 8 Mbps or synchronous/asynchronous V24/RS232 (FO-SE28) up to 128kbps. It is compatible with the FO-E1T1 modem or older generation FO80E1 and FO8011/35.
The FO-SECD is a special fiber optic modem X21/V11 with co-directional rate (from 0 to 8 Mbps), mainly used for satellite applications. This version is only compatible with FO-E1E2.
The FOS is a product family of media converters for reshaping fiber signal functions to convert STM1 electrical/optical, fiber/fiber STM1 and STM4 as MM to SM conversion or boosters up to 1250 Mbps speed.
