FOC-GTX-SFP Gigabit Ethernet media converter with SFP

Pure Gigabit Ethernet media converter from copper 1000BaseT to 1000SX or 1000LX by SFP module

The FOC-GTX-SFP is used to interconnect two Gigabit Ethernet interfaces, one in copper another in fiber.

Or it is used to integrate a distant device or branch of LAN in the main Gigabit Ethernet LAN.

The FOC-GTX-SFP is plug-and-play equipment. Choice of fiber interface, multimode/single-mode / WDM/ CWDM interface, is made by choosing the right SFP module.

The FOC-GTX-SFP supports the ‘’Link Alarm’’ mode which shuts down the copper interface when the optical link breaks or conversely the optical interfaces when the copper interface is disconnected or fails.

The FOC-GTX-SFP is a pure converter with 2000Mbps bandwidth and it supports VLAN and Jumbo frames up to 9216 Bytes.

The FOC is powered by 5Vdc and comes equipped with an external AC/5Vdc converter or an optional 48Vdc/5Vdc converter.

All FOC-xxx products can slide into a RACK-MEDIA16 chassis which holds 16 modules. This chassis shares the single or dual power supplies and 3 fans to all modules.

The FOC-GTX-SFP 1000BaseT can support the following SFP modules:

SFP-GSX-LC Module Gigabit Ethernet 850 nm for multimode pair of fiber up to 550m,
SFP-GSX-MM-1310-LC Module Gigabit Ethernet 1310 nm for multimode pair of fiber up to 2km,

SFP-GLX-SMxx-LC Module Gigabit Ethernet 1310 nm or 1550 nm for pair of single mode fiber,
SFP-GLX-SMxxW13-LC/WDM Module Gigabit Ethernet WDM 1310 nm for unique single-mode fiber,
SFP-GLX-SMxxW15-LC/WDM Module Gigabit Ethernet WDM 1550 nm for unique single-mode fiber,

SFP-GLX-SMxx-Caa-LC Module Gigabit Ethernet Lambda CWDM.
