FOC Media Ethernet converter module
10, 100 and or 1000BaseT copper to fiber media converter up to 120Km in 100FX or 1000LX with fixed fiber of SFP module.
The FOC interconnects different Ethernet devices with media and rates conversion.
The FOC interconnects a distant station or remote LAN section to the main LAN.
The FOC is an independent plug-and-play device. It can be configured manually by micro-switches. CXR offers a range of pure Ethernet/Gigabit Ethernet converters (100BaseT to 100FX or 1000BaseT to 1000SX/LX) or store and forward two ports switch with rate adaptation (10/100BaseT or 10/100/1000BaseT).
The FOC supports the ‘’Link Alarm’’ feature which shuts down the copper interface when the optical link is cutor vice versa, shuts down the optical interfaces when the copper interface is disconnected or fails.
As pure converter, the FOC provides a 200Mbps or 2000Mbps full duplex bandwidth and supports Jumbo frames up to 9,216 Bytes. The FOC is VLAN transparent in all modes.
The FOC is powered from an external 110/230 Vac to 5Vdc adapter or an optional 48Vdc to 5Vdc converter.
All FOC-xxx products can slide into a RACK-MEDIA16 chassis that holds 16 modules. This chassis provides single or dual power supplies and 3 fans for converter cooling.
